A 27-year-old man who had been released from prison on Tuesday was shot and killed in Mar del Plata, Argentina. The victim, identified as Matías Peralta, was driving his vehicle when occupants of a similar truck and a motorcycle opened fire on him. Peralta managed to exit his vehicle but was subsequently shot again by two men on a motorcycle. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition but died on Wednesday night. The truck used in the attack was later found abandoned, and an investigation has been launched to identify the perpetrators.
